I started my career with a four-year apprenticeship as a toolmaker. My affinity for materials science and precision work was born.
Triathlon pro
After my training, I emigrated to the USA in 1986 and traveled the world as a triathlon professional for 7 years.
Entrepreneur and coach
After the end of my active career as a triathlon professional, I founded Roy Hinnen GmbH (Import & Export Sport Equipments) in 1995, which I sold in 2010. Two years later, I wanted to devote myself entirely to coaching endurance athletes and founded tridome GmbH.
Swimming coach
Daily training is part of my life and health means a lot to me. That’s why I do everything I can to be “in shape” and stay that way. I use this know-how to work with and coach my clients. Because I need water space for this, I bought it in 2019 in the form of a swimming channel.
FlussPool GmbH
2019 Foundation of FlussPool GmbH. Since 2009, I have been pursuing my FlussPool vision – to swim at home all year round in a current that flows pleasantly like a river and also offers our children the opportunity to safely come into contact with the wonderful element of water thanks to the lifting floor.
