This FlussPool in Davos is made of stainless steel and has been used almost daily since 2010. Also because the lifting floor is winter-insulated and saves heating costs even in the freezing cold thanks to its heat transfer coefficient of 0.3 watts per square meter and Kelvin. The flow speed can be adjusted from 1.4 m/s to 2 m/s, which prevents air bubbles and turbulence and makes swimming training as comfortable as possible.

Since 2011, our customer has also been able to do this at home in St. Gallen - all year round thanks to the winter-insulated FlussPool. In conventional counter-current systems, weightless swimming without great water resistance is not possible. In this river pool with a lifting floor, however, you feel carried by the water. To ensure that the water surface in a FlussPool remains invitingly clean and free of dirt, a skimmer is normally required for suction. Not so in this concrete pool with infinity overflow channel, which offers a view of the surroundings. Compared to the past, there are hardly any chemicals in swimming pool water these days to eliminate impurities from skin flakes, hair or sun cream. At the customer's request, this stainless steel pool with counter-current system does not require any chlorine at all. To this end, FlussPool installed a special system in 2017 that uses active oxygen and a UV system to keep the water clean and germ-free.
